How to join an HBA Affinity Group

Affinity groups are self-forming communities of HBA members who connect through a common interest, focus, need, or identity. There are a number of current affinity groups within our membership, including:

• Career Transformations (formerly Women in Transition)
• Digital Innovators (formerly Women in Healthcare IT and iLead)
• Tomorrow's Executives
• Patient Centricity
• Peak Performance (formerly Fit to Lead)
• Women of Color
• Women in Healthcare Give Back
• Women in Science

All affinity groups are found in the HBA Community. Members can join these communities to stay up to date on affinity group happenings and participate in relevant conversations with other group members.

To join a group, please complete the following steps:

1. Log into your HBA account
2. Go to the Affinity Group page and click the button below the Affinity Group you wish to join.
3. The Affinity Group page will give you information about the group. Click "Join"
4. A new window will appear asking how you would like to receive emails about this group's discussions. Choose your preferences and then click "Yes join the community"
